Nexen, Statoil, Chrysaor and Helix Well Ops will all participate in the Subsea Well Intervention Strategies Panel at OWI EU 2018 on April 25th in Aberdeen

ABERDEEN, ABERDEENSHIRE, UNITED KINGDOM, March 14, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Nexen, Statoil, Chrysaor and Helix Well Ops will all participate in the Subsea Well Intervention Strategies Panel at OWI EU 2018 on April 25th in Aberdeen.

Nexen’s Senior Completions Engineer Ken Macrae will moderate a unique discussion featuring Chrysaor’s Well and Subsea Manager John McKenzie, Helix Well Ops’ Business Development Manager Ekene Ogbechie and Statoil’s Technical Advisor Alastair Buchanan as they cover:

* The current technical capabilities of subsea technology to help identify new innovative rigless applications

* How recent LWI projects have demonstrated new approaches to subsea intervention and what this means for future well operations

* The ability to expand the reach of subsea well intervention into harsher environments including the West of Shetland and Barents Sea
