Swedish Frequency Regulation Project: Paving the Way in the Nordic Market

In May 2024, HyperStrong kicked off its first project in Sweden—a grid-side frequency regulation energy storage system in Stockholm. Despite the complexity of coordinating multiple stakeholders, the project was efficiently executed through a unified communication platform and clearly defined responsibilities. The system was successfully accepted in March 2025.

This project not only signifies HyperStrong’s strategic entry into the Nordic market but also lays the foundation for long-term partnership with the client. Additional orders from the client are already being delivered and commissioned, further expanding HyperStrong’s footprint in the region.

German Waltershausen Energy Storage Power Station: A Milestone of Deepened Collaboration

In May 2024, HyperStrong signed a supply contract with its client for the Waltershausen energy storage project in central Germany. Leveraging its high-efficiency execution capabilities, the HyperStrong team completed project delivery by December 2024 and facilitated smooth grid connection in March 2025. Powered by HyperStrong’s flagship utility-scale energy storage system, the plant supports electricity trading and helps enhance grid flexibility.

The Waltershausen project stands as a benchmark case for HyperStrong in Germany, paving the way for future large-scale applications in the country’s evolving market.

One-Stop Solution: Simplifying Integration for Maximum Efficiency

For both projects, HyperStrong delivered an integrated “DC + AC” system solution and led the joint commissioning of both systems. “Our one-stop solution saves the need for our clients to coordinate with multiple parties, significantly simplifying processes and improving execution efficiency,” said Jianfeng Xu, Senior Vice President of Engineering, EMEA Region at HyperStrong.

Looking Ahead: Driving Energy Transition with Innovation and Execution

With the successful commissioning of the Stockholm and Waltershausen projects, HyperStrong further deepens its presence in Europe. As the company continues to grow, HyperStrong remains committed to driving the energy transition through cutting-edge technologies, reliable delivery, and localized partnerships.
