HOME EQUIPMENT

Sales of home appliances fell by 4 percent in the first four months of the year, the Rzeczpospolita daily reported, citing industry data.

NUCLEAR POWER

Poland's energy ministry received first offers by bidders willing to build a nuclear power station in Poland, Rzeczpospolita reported. There has been a Chinese offer and another from France's EDF.

CYFROWY POLSAT

Polish media and telecoms group Cyfrowy Polsat said late on Thursday that it has agreed to buy a controlling stake in sports content producer and distributor Eleven Sports Network (ESN) for 38 million euros ($44.5 million).
