Nevada Sets New Marijuana Sales Record in March

Nevada set a new record for legal marijuana sales in March, more than 41 million dollars. That pushes tax revenues through the first nine months of legal sales to nearly 49 million dollars, according to Bill Anderson head of the Nevada Department of Taxation. He says with three months to go in the fiscal year, the state has already brought in 97% of the tax revenue that was projected for an entire year. Marijuana tax revenues for March topped 7 million dollars.
